Miss Stefanie

Stefanie began dancing at the age of four.  She is professionally trained in all areas of dance, specializing in Tap, Jazz, Lyrical and Hip Hop. Stefanie began competing at a National level at the age of 8.  At the age of 19, Stefanie continued her training at Broadway Dance Center in New York City. She has also trained under professionals such as Savion Glover, Geo Hubela and Charissa Seaman. Stefanie's teaching career began at the age of 16 when she developed her own competitive Jazz team consisting of high school age students, as well as teaching Hip Hop, Jazz and Tap to children of all ages.  From 2001 to 2006, Stefanie taught and choreographed master classes at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, FL. Her professional dance career has included dancing for celebrities such as Sting, Backstreet Boys and Ray Charles. Stefanie continuously keeps her training new and fresh by attending workshops and seminars around the country. As well as judging Nationally for Nexstar Dance Competition.  Most recently Stefanie has become a member of the groundbreaking I.D.E.A. (International Dance Entrepreneurs  Association).  I.D.E.A. works with its members to maintain a consistent pursuit of skills and knowledge through continuing education. 

Miss Sue

Sue Wall started dancing when she was eight years old.   Jazz was always her favorite style or forte.  Sue has extensive training throughout her many years of dancing including taking master classes in NYC and Tampa.  Sue's dance teaching career began when she was 21 years old.  

Although she went to University for ophthalmic science, Sue's love and passion is dance.  She's been teaching at Starstruck Dance Studio since 2005 and has had a huge impact on the lives of our wonderful dancers.  Sue brings a beautiful joy to the dance room and she is a valuable member of the StarStruck family. We love watching Miss Sue with her students- she is energetic, structured, and fun! Miss Sue has three children and  has been married to her husband Mark for 17 years. 

Miss Ashlyn

Ashlyn Bolton has been training in dance since 1999 in a variety of ways. She began her education at the Center Stage Dance Studio and has continued training through other intensive workshops such as the Rockettes Summer Intensive , Tap Kids Summer Intensive, The Pulse On Tour, Orlando Ballet Summer Intensive, and the Orlando Ballet at the Patel Conservatory. Ashlyn's dance performance career with the Next Generation Ballet include shows such as The Imperial Nutcracker, Midsummer Night’s Dream, Swan Lake, Cinderella, and Sleeping Beauty. She also has a long list of theater and vocal performances too, including shows with Chris Daughtry and band, The Counting Crows, and even performances at downtown Disney. Ashlyn loves to perform and finds the stage to be a second home for her. Currently, Ashlyn is apart of the Truth Tap Company where she does performances and charity work. Ashlyn brings a unique joy to the classroom and children adore her gentle spirit. She brightens the room at StarStruck Dance Studio.

Miss Vashti

Vashti Walters has been a Ballet instructor for the past 5 years. She has recently relocated to St. Petersburg, FL from Tarpon Springs. Vashti has trained in Ballet nearly her entire life while growing up in South Carolina and Texas. The Tampa Ballet Theater brought her back to FL and she is now broadening her horizons at the St. Petersburg Ballet Conservatory. When asked what she loved about teaching Ballet she replied: "Getting to figure out different ways to make them have fun and explain the actual meaning of a term. It's amazing to see them learn how to dance when it all clicks! I believe dance is FUN- Artistic, scientific, physical!" Vashti is a beautiful asset to our faculty!

Miss Sandy

Sandy McRitchie stared dancing at the age of 5. Ballet was her first dance class and although she took other forms of dance such as jazz and tap, ballet was her true love. She did ballet on and off since she was 5 and began teaching classes at age 25. Sandy has been teaching dance for 20 year. She has a Bachelors in psychology and a masters in education- ppplying her Elementary teaching skills to use for her students. Miss Sandy's advice to her students is to "Be patient. Set small achievable goals to feel successful."  Miss Sandy is a joy to watch in the studio. She is patient with her students, compassionate, and easy to love! She is strong piece of our faculty and we love her dearly. Miss Sandy has a daughter named Madelyn who is also apart of our StarStruck Family.

Miss Andrea

Miss Andrea has a MFA in Choreography from Wilson College with a BFA in Dance from The College at Brockport in New York. Andrea has spent the last 18 months in New York training with several companies such as  David Dorfman (Broadway’s Indecent, and David Dorfman Dance).  Miss Andrea's studies focused on Choreography, Art History, Theory, Interdisciplinary Collaboration, and Somatic Practice. She sttudied under Joshua Legg, Melanie George, Ed Woodham, Jim Condron, Rachel Carrico, and Anne Reed-Bertram. While training, Miss Andrea taught at Harkness Dance and MK Dance in New York City. Now that Andrea is here in Florida, she brings her training and passion in contemporary, ballet, hip hop, tap, and musical theater jazz to our studio! We love having Miss Andrea apart of our StarStruck Family!

Miss Mackenzie

Mackenzie Miller comes to SSDS from Florida State University (GO NOLES!) where she graduated with a BA in Family and Child Sciences with a Minor in Psychology and Chemistry. Miss Mackenzie was a member of the Alpha Delta Pi at FSU and was also a Golden Girl on FSU's dance squad for 3 years where she was a sideline entertainer at sporting events as well as competed at Universal Dance Alliance's National Collegiate competition.  Miss Mackenzie participated in the Rockette Summer Intensive on scholarship in 2016 and also attended Brian Friedman's Main event where she took classes from infamous choreographers such as Tyce Diorio and Tricia Miranda. Something fun about Miss Mackenzie- she was a dancer in Naomi Wynters IT’S MY RUNWAY” music video in September of 2019. We love Mackenzie's energetic personality and fun spirit!

Miss Krista

Krista Kennedy is a returning SSDS Member who started dancing at Starstruck when she was 7 years old. With SSDS, she began competing when she was 8 years old until she was 14. Miss Krista continued to use her skills from dancing to pursue Cheerleading at Seminole high school. Once Krista graduated from high school, she was able to come back to teach dance at SSDS and she loves every second of it! On top of being extremely loving and patient with our dancers, she loves being able to see her students everyday and watch them grow as dancers. Miss Krista's favorite style is jazz! She is really great with our Twinkle Dancers as well.  Miss Krista also enjoys using her cheerleading tumbling skills in  our acro classes. Her vibe is calm, peaceful, and contagious!
