Stefanie began dancing at the age of four. She is professionally trained in all areas of dance, specializing in Tap, Jazz, Lyrical and Hip Hop. Stefanie began competing at a National level at the age of 8. At the age of 19, Stefanie continued her training at Broadway Dance Center in New York City. She has also trained under professionals such as Savion Glover, Geo Hubela and Charissa Seaman. Stefanie's teaching career began at the age of 16 when she developed her own competitive Jazz team consisting of high school age students, as well as teaching Hip Hop, Jazz and Tap to children of all ages. From 2001 to 2006, Stefanie taught and choreographed master classes at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, FL. Her professional dance career has included dancing for celebrities such as Sting, Backstreet Boys and Ray Charles. Stefanie continuously keeps her training new and fresh by attending workshops and seminars around the country. As well as judging Nationally for Nexstar Dance Competition. Most recently Stefanie has become a member of the groundbreaking I.D.E.A. (International Dance Entrepreneurs Association). I.D.E.A. works with its members to maintain a consistent pursuit of skills and knowledge through continuing education.
Mr. Chris has been teaching at StarStruck Dance Studio for 5 years. A native of Atlanta, GA Christopher graduated from Pebblebrook High School (Cobb County Center for Excellence in Performing Arts) as a Dance major. There he received his dance training from Stephanie Dabney (Dance Theatre of Harlem former Principal), Sharon Story, and Marcus Alford.
While in high school Christopher attended The Atlanta School of Ballet as a full scholarship student where he received training from Stanislav Issaev (IBC Gold Medalist), Robert Barnett, and Kris Cangelosi. Christopher has also trained with Rotaru International Ballet, Pennsylvania Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, and the San Francisco Ballet.
In 1995, Christopher received his first professional dance contract from the Atlanta Ballet. He went on to dance with the Pennsylvania Ballet and BalletMet. While at BalletMet, Christopher was given his first teaching opportunity and named to their faculty. In addition to Ballet Chris also has an extensive background teaching Jazz and Hip-Hop.
Christopher has been the Ballet Master for Teen Dance Company of the Bay Area(CA) where he and his wife Leah trained trained Princess Grace Award winners as well as students who currently attend or have gone on to graduate from The Julliard School. Past students have danced on "So You Think You Can Dance". Others are members of Ballet San Jose, San Francisco Ballet School, Pennsylvania Ballet School, and Broadway Theatre Project. And many students are currently attending various Colleges and Universities across the country majoring in Dance.
Sue Wall started dancing when she was eight years old. Jazz was always her favorite style or forte. Sue has extensive training throughout her many years of dancing including taking master classes in NYC and Tampa. Sue's dance teaching career began when she was 21 years old.
Although she went to University for ophthalmic science, Sue's love and passion is dance. She's been teaching at Starstruck Dance Studio since 2005 and has had a huge impact on the lives of our wonderful dancers. Sue brings a beautiful joy to the dance room and she is a valuable member of the StarStruck family.
Sue has three children and has been married to her husband Mark for 17 years.
Victoria Mora graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BFA in dance. During her time there, she had the privilege to perform works by David Justin, Charles O. Anderson, Paul Taylor, Ohad Naharin, and Robert Battle, among others.
Victoria has attended both Bates and the American Dance festival where she performed a new work under the direction of Rosie Herrera. She danced for a season with Ad Deum Dance Company in Houston, and she moved to Florida to begin working with Moving Ethos in their current season. Since graduating, Victoria has also been teaching in various studios both in Houston and Florida. She is very grateful to be a part of StarStruck Dance Studio’s staff teaching modern and ballet/tap.
Maria Virolas was born and raised in Midtown Manhattan in the heart of Time Square. She began dancing at the age of eight at a school called Ballet Tech. From there she attended a performing arts high school known as the "Fame" school and graduated with her diploma.
At the age of 18 Maria was invited to join Eliot Feld's Ballet Company traveling to different cities across the country to perform. She had the honor of sharing the stage with legends such as Savion Glover and Mikhail Baryshnikov.
In 2001 Maria moved to Florida and began her career in childcare. She currently teaches at the YMCA Bardmoor Preschool Academy. She has been an incredible addition to StarStruck's faculty and every student that learns from her is a lucky one!
Ashlyn Bolton has been training in dance since 1999 in a variety of ways. She began her education at the Center Stage Dance Studio and has continued training through other intensive workshops such as the Rockettes Summer Intensive , Tap Kids Summer Intensive, The Pulse On Tour, Orlando Ballet Summer Intensive, and the Orlando Ballet at the Patel Conservatory.
Ashlyn's dance performance career with the Next Generation Ballet include shows such as The Imperial Nutcracker, Midsummer Night’s Dream, Swan Lake, Cinderella, and Sleeping Beauty. She also has a long list of theater and vocal performances too, including shows with Chris Daughtry and band, The Counting Crows, and even performances at downtown Disney. Ashlyn loves to perform and finds the stage to be a second home for her.
Currently, Ashlyn is apart of the Truth Tap Company where she does performances and charity work. Ashlyn brings a unique joy to the classroom and children adore her gentle spirit. She brightens the room at StarStruck Dance Studio.
Lauren Lovejoy began her love for dance at age 7 during a free trial at a local studio. Through hardwork and dedication, Lauren was invited to prestigious dance studio and won countless awards while competing locally and nationally. From there, Lauren joined a small studio in Virginia and helped grow their competitive team. Quickly, they became one of the top studios in the area. She was with that studio competitively till age 22. After having her baby girl, Lauren fell in love all over again when she began teaching. We are excited to have Miss Lauren and dedication to teaching a well-rounded, self-confident dancer.
Sandy McRitchie stared dancing at the age of 5. Ballet was her first dance class and although she took other forms of dance such as jazz and tap, ballet was her true love. She did ballet on and off since she was 5 and began teaching classes at age 25. Sandy has been teaching dance for 20 year. She has a Bachelors in psychology and a masters in education. Applying her Elementary teaching skills to use for her students. Miss Sandy's advice to her students is to "Be patient. Set small achievable goals to feel successful."
